Mapping a Journey with AI
Go to your dashboard and click ‘Map a Journey with AI’.
Choose to start with a template or build from scratch.
Choose between ‘Map with AI’ and ‘Map it yourself’. For the full experience, start with research. If you lack research, Journey AI will generate a journey outline with the ‘Map it yourself’ option. Alternatively, you can use our fictional interview transcript to explore the full functionality.
Upload your text-based research in a .txt format or copy/paste it into the "raw transcript" box. Journey AI can analyze text from various sources like interviews, support tickets, digital whiteboard tools, workshops, and more. Simply drag and select the stickies you want to copy > CMD+C (Mac) or CTRL+C (Windows) to copy > paste them.
Click to begin generating your journey (ready within a few minutes). You can continue using TheyDo, and we'll notify you via email when your AI-generated journey is ready.
Review your AI-generated journey: the AI will have pulled out, categorized and mapped customer insights from your research. Insights can be identified by the ‘diamond’ symbol Any direct quotes will be neatly nested within the insights, with one key quote highlighted on the insight card.
Add content to an existing Journey
To add content to an existing journey, click the black Journey AI button in the top right corner of your journey or journey board and follow steps 4-6 above.
You'll see your AI-generated insights in the right hand side panel when they're finished generating. Simply multi-select to edit type, status, group or persona before mapping them. You can also choose to select only certain insights or map all insights directly to the journey.
