Goals
Goals are specific, time-bound targets such as market share increase or customer satisfaction improvement. Establishing goals is essential for defining success, connecting initiatives, and aligning teams with shared objectives. In TheyDo, you can link Opportunities and Solutions to Goals, building an Opportunity-Solution tree to show how all work traces back to a clear objective. This creates clarity and understanding of how individual contributions add up to overall business success. It also promotes stakeholder buy-in by demonstrating the value and impact of the work being done.
Goals help align company strategy, inform Journey mapping, prioritize Opportunities and Solutions (the more they contribute to a strategic goal, the higher their value is), and monitor success by keeping track of progress towards Goals. The Goals section is at the top of the sidebar for easy access, ensuring ongoing alignment of business goals with customer needs.
How to create a Goal
Navigate to 'Goals' in the left side menu.
Click '+ Goal' and give your Goal a name.
Add Opportunities and Solutions to show how you’ll solve this Goal.
To add additional properties to your Goal, click 'show details' inside your Goal and then '+ add property' to add a Type, Group or color. These tags will make progress tracking easier.
