Create a journey or journey mining
Start a journey from the dashboard or journey library.
Step 1
Click on ‘Start a journey’ anywhere in the product.

Step 2
Journey AI works with any template – your custom or TheyDo provided one.

Step 3
Select your .txt or .csv files (up to 30 in one go, no more than 50MB per selection). You can also just paste in text from any other file format or platform. Decide whether you want AI to set your phases and steps for you, based on the data extracted from the files.

Step 4
Specify the source type – interview, support log, or survey and feedback (open, unstructured answers) sheets. This is useful for later when tracing back the insights to their original sources, as well as informs AI how to read the content you are uploading. We recommend uploading survey or feedback data by individual columns rather than the whole file with multiple questions at once. Similarly, make sure to only upload raw, verbatim data rather than columns with timestamps and unique IDs or anything that AI cannot extract quotes from.

Step 5
The bigger the file set, the longer the wait but this can take anywhere from few minutes for a few interviews to an hour for a large survey dataset.

Step 6
That’s it, journey is ready for your review. Feel free to start changing the phases and steps, moving cards around, editing their content even before fully accepting the results. The review banner at the bottom will remain until the content is fully accepted, ensuring that you can continue reviewing (and having the ability to reject AI content in bulk) as long as you are not ready to accept and move on.
