TheyDo journey redesign: our new way of mapping

At TheyDo, we’re always listening to you. Every feature we create—it all stems from one goal: making customer journey management easier, more effective, and genuinely enjoyable. Based on your feedback, we’ve redesigned our mapping experience to make it simpler, more intuitive, and more impactful. Let’s dive into the updates and see how they’ll make mapping and presenting more efficient and customizable than ever before.

    Mapping

Our new mapping experience gives you even more control over the look, feel, and structure of your journey map so you can better customize your journeys — your way.

    Effortless drag and drop

It’s now easier than ever to create, reorder, or delete phases, steps, lanes, and cards.

Effortlessly build and adjust your journey structures — lanes, phases, and steps — with just a single click.

Our improved drag-and-drop system makes it smoother and more predictable to adjust your cards, giving you complete control over your journey maps.

Easily map from your building block libraries

Finding and placing insights, opportunities, and solutions within a journey is more straightforward than ever. With a new dynamic search functionality in the library, you can filter or search for specific blocks and then drag them right into the journey map. Open the library alongside your journey for a split-view experience, and quickly add existing insights where they belong.

    Bulk select

Use bulk select to manage multiple cards at once, bringing a whole new level of simplicity to uncovering opportunities based on journey steps.

Span building blocks across steps and phases

Mapping insights, opportunities, and solutions across multiple steps and phases is now smoother than ever. Easily drag building blocks across steps or phases without the hassle of relinking each time. Whether it’s an opportunity spanning pre- to post-purchase or a single insight relevant to multiple phases, this streamlined functionality saves you time, reduces friction, and makes adapting your map effortless.

    Improved color hierarchy

You can now visually organize your content by adding distinct colors to different journey phases, steps, lanes, or types—enhancing clarity and helping you instantly convey the significance of each element at a glance.

    Presenting

Need to present your journey work? Whether focusing on the details or showcasing the entire journey, these tools give you the flexibility and control to deliver a polished presentation.

Save and share custom journey views

Filter the journey content you want to see, save your view, and easily share or revisit it later.

    Zoom navigation

Zoom in on specific parts of the journey or switch to full screen for a wider perspective.

    Hide, collapse, and reveal

Manage content visibility to highlight exactly what matters most. Gain more control over the content by hiding, collapsing, or revealing lanes as needed. Collapse a lane to see only the count of items, leave it at the default view to see a maximum of five building blocks with the option to view more, or expand it to reveal all building blocks within that lane. Whether you want a high-level overview or an in-depth view, the choice is now entirely yours.
